In Act 3 of Swan Lake we meet the beautiful and deceptive Odile, otherwise known as the Black Swan. She is Rothbart's daughter, and has been disguised to look like Odile in a plot to trick Siegfried into forsaking his promise to Odette.
Whilst occasionally Odette and Odile are danced by different ballerinas, it has become customary for the same dancer to embody both roles. This dual role is one of the most iconic in the repertoire. Not only does it contain some of the most technically difficult dancing in the repertoire, but the soloist must show great emotional range to morph from vulnerable and pure Odette to audacious and deceptive Odile.
Our Black Swan floral has been created to embody the commanding and alluring presence of Odette. How could you not seduce a Prince or two when you wear her? Featuring hand painted watercolor blooms set against an ebony backdrop, representing the danger and mystique of the Swan Lake at the moon dips behind the castle.
The Siren silhouette is also evoking some seriously seductive vibes! Created with a beautiful bardot neckline to show off the decolletage, she also features our special bodice with heavy boning which acts like a bra and helps support your curves. The skirt is wide and layered to create depth and an exquisite flowing movement as you walk. We've also add a large detachable bow at the nape of the back, so you can switch between innocently girly to all-out seductress as you should see fit!
